When is my last day of academic classes?

The last day for seniors is Tuesday, June 3.

Did I order a cap and gown?

Yes, in the fall we held a class meeting to order caps and gowns. If you did not attend, Mrs. Leeman-Hook or Mrs. Gallice reached out to you for your details.

How much does my cap and gown cost?

The cost for each senior is $35 (cash or check payable to Morse High School) and the payment should be given to Mrs. Leeman-Hook. The deadline to pay for your cap and gown is Friday, May 30. Parents, please assist your senior with getting the payment to us by the deadline. If you are unable to pay the full $35, please have a private conversation with Mrs. Gallice and we will find a way to take care of the bill.

When and where do I pick up my cap and gown?

Caps and gowns will be distributed on Wednesday, June 4th at marching practice. Once seniors receive their cap & gown, it is theirs to keep.

How many guest can each graduate invite?

There is no limit on the number of guests on graduation if the ceremony is held outdoors.

What happens if it rains?

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held inside the Morse High School gymnasium. Each graduate will be given six free tickets for the inside graduation due to seating capacity. We will also have the graduation live-streamed in the Montgomery Theater for extra guests with no tickets required for seating in the theater (this overflow seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis in the theater).

Morse doors will open at 12:30 pm and parking will be onsite with overflow parking at McMann Field and Bath Middle School. Transportation from the field complex and BMS to the high school will be provided by the Trolley. Tickets will be given to students on the last day (Friday) of marching practice for this event. Remember, if it is not raining, we will be holding graduation outside at McMann and no tickets are necessary, all are welcome. The tickets are only needed in case of inclement weather.

What is the date/time of project graduation?

Project Graduation leaves about an hour after the conclusion of the graduation ceremony.

WELCOME

Morse High School Class of 2025, family and friends,

We are so excited to celebrate with you all at McMann Field on Sunday, June 8 at 2:00 pm.

If there is inclement weather, we will move our graduation ceremony inside in the Morse High School gymnasium. We will notify of this change via email, social media, and our website as early as possible on the day of graduation. Just in case, we wanted to share our rainy day plan so you can be prepared, as well as a few other last-minute important details.

Rain Plan

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held inside the Morse High School gymnasium. Each graduate will be given six (free) tickets for the inside graduation due to seating capacity.

Marching Practice & Graduation Weekend

MARCHING PRACTICE IS MANDATORY! If it rains, we will have it in the gym at Morse High School.

Wednesday, June 4: Practice will start at 8:30 am at McMann Field.  At this practice you will be getting your cap and gown, taking a class picture and also an individual picture if you would like from Soggy Dog Design. For more information about purchasing pictures and pricing, please reach out to Wendy Jung (wendy@soggydogdesigns.com). If you haven't paid for your cap and gown, please remember to do so either before or at first marching practice. The cost is $35. Checks can be made payable to Morse High School. Cash is accepted. If you have any financial difficulty, please reach out to Devon Gallice (dgallice@rsu1.org).

After marching practice is over, graduates will go in a bus or a van to visit their elementary schools in their cap and gowns. This is such a great event for both our seniors and our younger RSU1 students! Students will leave marching practice around 11:00 am on either buses or vans and visit schools. Depending on the elementary school and location, students will return between 1:00-1:30 pm. If your student did not attend an elementary school in RSU1, don't worry, they can still be part of this fun tradition. Mrs. Trundy has assigned all students a school to visit.

Thursday, June 5: Marching practice will start at 8:30 am and will be inside at the Morse High School Gymnasium and will likely last until around 10:00 am. Scholarship Night is at 6:00 pm on June 6th. If you have received an invitation, please attend.

Friday, June 6: Marching Practice starts at 9:00 am at McMann Field. This will be our final run through to get out any final questions/confusion.

Saturday, June 7: Alumni Banquet! The Class of 2025 is the guest of honor. This is located at Morse High School and is a wonderful welcome to the class into the Alumni Association. There will be delicious food and will be representatives from many different classes. Students should dress nicely and arrive a little before 4:30 pm when they will be welcomed into the room. Tickets for the Alumni Banquet are available in the main office. Please see Mrs. Leeman-Hook to reserve yours.

Sunday, June 8: GRADUATION DAY! Gates open at 12:30 pm for graduation. Handicap parking is available right at McMann Field. All others should plan to park at the tennis courts, Bath Middle School, or Morse High School. The Trolley will shuttle you to McMann from those parking areas. Graduates need to be at the field by 1:00 pm to prepare for the big day. The ceremony starts at 2:00 pm. Remember to wear business casual attire under your cap and gown. There is no limit to the number of guests that each graduate can have during an outdoor graduation ceremony.

Do you have a family member who is unable to make it to graduation? The Morse graduation will be broadcasted via LiveStream on the Morse High School Facebook page and Youtube channel at: https://bit.ly/morseyoutube
