Dear Morse Parents and Guardians, Morse High School and Bath Tech are conducting a periodic drill of our responses to a threat of school safety on Thursday and Friday of this week. Morse and Bath Tech use our own version of the ALICE protocols, which include a spectrum of responses to potential threats, including lockdown, evacuation, as well as less likely responses such as barricading and countering. This drill just involves teaching and a discussion of the techniques. We will have two to three more drills this school year, where we will run through possible scenarios with students and discuss possible responses to those scenarios. Parents and guardians are an important part of our school community, and we want to make sure you are aware of these conversations. 📣SENIORS & PARENTS!📣 We have a great tradition for our Morse Clipper yearbook and would like to see it continue. We need your help! As the parent/guardian of a Morse High School senior, you have an opportunity to submit a baby photo with a short message. The cost is $20. We are guessing you are wondering how to do this. Ask your student to upload their photo in the Google Classroom and then send your child in with $20 to be delivered to Mrs. Barter the School Nurse in Room 102. You then must email Mrs. Barter at kbarter@rsu1.org with your short (please limit to 125 characters) message which will be included with the baby photo. Please see the included example. The deadline is TOMORROW, Thursday, December 10th!!!

Morse High School presents The 91st Annual MoHiBa "Goodbye, 826" this Friday and Saturday! The event will be taking place via Morse YouTube and Facebook pages. The “doors will open” at 6:30 PM. Everyone can tune in starting at 6:30 PM for some MoHiBa throwbacks before the show starts at 7:00 PM! The show itself runs 1 hour (not including the pre-show). If you comment on the Facebook video or the YouTube video, you may see your comments on the screen to share your support for the performers! This will be our final MoHiBa at 826. It’s going be a great show - you won’t want to miss it! 💙🤍
